Bram Ellis

Turf Maintenance Officer · Belmont / Geelong, Victoria

Bram Ellis believes that a community without a thriving grassroots sports club is a community that has lost its living room. Pushing the line-marking machine across the dew-soaked grass of his local Belmont oval at 8:00 AM on a Saturday, he makes sure the boundary lines are razor-sharp before the under-tens run out. For Bram, flipping snags at the canteen barbecue while chatting with volunteer parents is where true community resilience is built.
