Harlan Mears

English Teacher · West Melbourne, Melbourne, Victoria

Harlan and his partner gradually repurpose their West Melbourne terrace after their younger daughter moves out. The house is quieter, but his teaching week has not become a holiday: marking can displace a dinner and room sorting waits. Weekend breakfasts and an occasional regional stay give the couple time together without requiring a reinvention of their marriage.
