Iris Dune is a thirty-two-year-old graphic designer whose partner often gets home before she does. Their dinner problem is the handover: what can one person start without waiting for the other's carefully imagined dish? Her notes separate a quick base from optional crisp shallots, herbs and sauce so dinner does not depend on both people arriving together. Twenty minutes is a target, not a culinary qualification or a promise.
