Marlo Aven

Studio Assistant · North Melbourne, Victoria

Marlo Aven believes learning a hand skill requires making peace with a few crooked bowls. From a shared North Melbourne bench, he records his own practice and the small decisions that help him return after a tiring shift. Paid studio support and personal making occupy different hours; a good dumpling dinner is sometimes a better evening plan than another test tile.
